Mockery: perhaps best left to Palace professionals?

  • D.C. cess-pols shut down government
  • They get paid while nation suffers

“House Speaker John Boehner and Tea Party factions he can’t seem to control have nothing on Kevin Spacey’s diabolical “House of Cards” character, as the GOP holds the country hostage.”

Nice try, Daily News. But the problem with your failed attempt at mockery here is that to conservatives, the portrayal of a white, male, conservative politician as a ruthless thug is a compliment—.

Just off the top of my head: maybe next time you could draw Boehner as a bratty little toddler in diapers having a teary tantrum, gripping a baby bottle filled with his Grade A, 100% government-funded healthcare. Make him seem all desperate and stupid and weak and stuff. You know, girly.*

They really hate that shit.

*It should go without saying, but just in case it does not go without saying, it is not the official position of this blog that women and girls are inherently more desperate or stupid or weak than men and boys. It is, however, the official position of the Republican Party. Live by the sword, motherfuckers…
