Van Jones of Rebuild the Dream has produced a very good video (in concert with CREDO Action, 350.org and greenforall.org) debunking three myths about the Keystone XL pipeline. In a Palace-worthy flourish, the Mr. Jones rebrands it the “Obama Tar Sands Pipeline,” and demonstrates the kind of action necessary to split liberals who prioritize global warming and environmental pollution from Democrats like the president who talk a good game but ultimately do not deliver. Of course, the message has far to little mockery for our tastes. But nonetheless it is heartening to see staunch Obama supporters call him out directly on this issue. Too bad, really, that they couldn’t be bothered to do so before the last election. They could have exerted this kind of pressure when it mattered.
