In yesterday’s post, I proposed that for every cynical, hypocritical request from Democrats for money that we receive this week (“Can you chip in $5 to hold Republicans accountable?”), the Palace will donate the exact amount requested directly to Rob Zerban’s campaign. By the end of the day yesterday, I could add Carolyn Maloney ($3), John Kerry ($5) and Nancy Pelosi ($3) for a running total of $36.
This morning we can add: Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz ($3) which brings us to $39.
And I have a feeling they’re just getting started.
